State Revenues from Gaming Win Up Over Last Year

According to the latest report from the Gaming Control Board, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total gaming win of $852,005,476 for the month of April. For the current fiscal year (July 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014) gaming win has so far increased 1.45%.

The State collected $47,894,166 in percentage fees during the month of May 2014 based on taxable revenues generated in April 2014. This represents a 1.43% (or $675,526 increase) compared to May of 2013.

Clark County reported $742,704,482 in gaming win for April, which is up by 0.87% from $736,312,721 during the same period last year. Clark County has so far seen an uptick of 1.79% over the prior fiscal year with $8,138,044,941 in gaming win.

Washoe County reported $58,301,241 in gaming win for April, a decrease of 2.22% over April 2013. However, Washoe is up 0.57% over the prior fiscal year.
