Nevada Gaming Win Up 3% for Fiscal Year

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $933,003,709 for the month of June 2018. Nevada Unemployment Hits 4.7% in June

According to the state Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s (DETR) June 2018 economic report, job growth was 2.8 percent, well above the national rate of 1.6 percent. June marks the 90th straight month of year-over-year job gains in Nevada, with job growth continuing to hover near 40,000 jobs per month on a year-over-year basis. A housing market report released today by the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® (GLVAR) reported that the median price for existing single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada through its Multiple Listing Service (MLS) during June was $290,000.
