The latest workforce statistics are out from Nevada’s Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation (DETR). The unemployment rate was 5% in November, the same rate as October and 0.2 points lower than it was a year ago. State personal income increased 0.7 percent on average in the third quarter of 2017, according to estimates released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $988,744,450 for the month of October 2017, according to the state’s Gaming Control Board.
