Nevada Gaming Win & Revenues (July #s)

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $922.8 million for the month of July 2015. This amounts to a 0.96% decrease compared to July 2014, when licensees reported a gaming win of $931,875,046. On the Strip, gaming revenue declined 2.1% to $524.9 million. Nevada Jobs Market Report (July)

Nevada’s “headline” unemployment rate fell to a seasonally adjusted 6.8% in July 2015. Relative to July 2014, the Nevada economy added 45,500 payroll jobs and the unemployment rate fell by 0.8 points. Headline Jobless Rate Drops, New Workers Pour Into Nevada

Nevada’s headline unemployment rate has dropped to 6.8%, according to a Wednesday release by the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation. The national rate is 5.3%.
