Baskin Robbins Joins Eldorado Plaza

Baskin Robbins signed a 10-year lease for 1,400 square feet of retail space inside Eldorado Plaza at 5515 Camino Al Norte in North Las Vegas. Colliers International’s David Grant represented the lessor, Donahue Schriber Realty Group LP. Lease terms were not disclosed.

Horizon Place Acquires $2.5 Million in Refinancing

Aljos LLC acquired $2,475,000 in refinancing for the 11-year-old Horizon Place, on 0.54 acres, at 209-213 S. Stephanie Street in Henderson. The Albertsons-anchored neighborhood shopping center is currently 71% occupied. CommCap Advisors’ Kyle Nagy sourced the 10-year loan, with a 5-year fixed rate and 25-year amortization.

DC Building Group Completes Bella Scarpa

Gold Star Venture LLC bought a 30,934-square-foot Savers, on 3.18 acres, inside Tonopah Plaza at 3121 N. Rancho Drive in North Las Vegas for $2.24 million, or $72-per-square-foot, from JG Rancho LLC. Marcus & Millichap’s Ray Germain represented the seller.

Valley Retail Sector Struggles in Second Quarter

Southern Nevada retail sector still struggled during the second quarter, continuing an eight-quarter decline, reports Colliers International Las Vegas. Valley retail vacancy was 9.5% at the end of June, with 100,229 square feet of net absorption for a year-over-year decrease of more than 50,000 square feet.
